Laminova heat exchangers control the temperature of the power steering system. It is especially suitable in high temperature surroundings and during heavy-duty driving. The heat exchangers extend the life of power steering systems.
Excessive heat in power steering systems can cause severe problems including risks of dangerous system failure. Laminova heat exchangers control the fluid temperature stabilizing the system and prolong the life of gaskets and seals. They are very effective during demanding driving conditions.
You can adapt coolers for specific running conditions.
The existing power steering cooler is supplied with push-on connectors for 3/8” hose. The housings are threaded 1/4”-18 NPS x 6 mm deep. Use of adapters with 1/4” NPTF thread is acceptable. Standard housings have coolant connector sizes for ø32, ø38 hose and inner thread 1” NPT.
The compact, cylindrical design of Laminova coolers makes installation easy. Their cooling efficiency compared to that of traditional coolers is very high due to the unique design. They can be custom-made for various applications.
Can warm up the oil in cold climates
In cold climates, the coolers can warm up the oil in the power steering system when starting up.
Tolerates 100 bars
The Laminova power steering cooler can be used in high-pressure systems up to 100 bar. It has extremely low pressure drop on the cooling media side.
Usage in other systems
The cooler can also be used in active suspension systems, for example, since the same hydraulic pump and fluid are used in both systems.
The core can be delivered as a separate component, ready for installation.
